In helping others, we shall help ourselves, for whatever good we give out completes the circle and comes back to us.”

An Open Letter

From Kris Campbell, Founder and President of Challenge It Now LLC

Since 1984, I’ve been a consultant, educator and facilitator in the combined fields of organizational development and behavioral effectiveness. In blending these two disciplines, I target my work toward helping people in business identify and develop the behaviors that optimize work climate effectiveness and performance potential.

In 1990, after 6 years inside the corporate world of Organizational Development, I started my own business, Challenge Consulting. I began this business to make a difference in the corporate world through a process in which I deeply believe — organizational work climate. The name – Challenge - is my reminder that people in organizations and business (and life) must be willing to challenge their habitual ways of thinking and doing.

This willingness to “challenge” our thoughts and actions is the foundation for our most critical human attribute: adaptation. Through constructive and cooperative dialogue that brings into question our beliefs, values and actions, we engage human systems to remain agile and adaptive in this tumultuous, ever-changing world in which we strive to live and work.

Today, Challenge Consulting continues to evolve and in 2006, we became Challenge It Now LLC. And we are growing! We now have three locations: West Coast (Southern California), East Coast (Maryland) and Midwest (Missouri) to conveniently reach out to a broad client base. Our enthusiastic and dedicated group is growing too! Now there are 4 of us on staff along with 2 long-term affiliates to further enrich and support us. We make a great team!

We live in an extraordinary time.

At the same time, thinking about our thinking and observing our observations can bring us a new world in which work becomes a place for innovation, and in which peace, wisdom, friendship, companionship, and community can exist.

Let us design this world together.
-Fernando Flores

We’ll also keep adding new insights and knowledge to our work and commit to role-modeling our own credo to “challenge our habitual ways of thinking and doing” through our conduct as consultants, coaches and facilitators.

With this collaborative partnership, we now focus our synergistic energies toward a common goal —  through consultation, coaching and facilitation we help professionals in businesses and organizations create and sustain a workplace climate where the positive experience of work is optimized, engagement is enriched and performance potential is maximized.

“When a business or professional commits to creating a workplace where people thrive instead of simply survive, they call us.”

We know that when the Intentional WorkClimate™ within a business or organization (whether 2 people or 2000 people) is healthy, vital and sustained, both people and business outcomes flourish and thrive. In 2000, the HayGroup conducted their latest research on work climate and confirmed that up to 30% of a business’ financial outcome can be attributed to the impact of work climate. More recently, the Gallup Organization’s on-going Gallup Workplace Audit* further confirmed that high levels of employee engagement, job satisfaction and positive perceptions of the workplace powerfully impact employee turnover, customer loyalty, overall productivity and, ultimately, profitability measures substantial enough to mean the difference between success and failure of a business.

Now in our 16th year of business, Challenge It Now LLC continues to engage professionals in all walks of business, from corporate executive teams, individual leaders, work groups and independent entrepreneurs.

We look to the future with optimism that businesses and organizations can create and sustain the kind of workplace climate where people bring the best of themselves to work and experience their time at work as meaningful and enriching to their lives.

At Challenge It Now LLC, in concert with our clients, we inspire and create the workplace future where performance and well-being are not independent but complimentary.

Where work climate is optimized, both people and business win. Ultimately, with our clients, we create a place to thrive @ work
